Meet the team
Bob Hay
Managing Director
Telephone: 020 8655 1300Bob knows a thing or two about loyalty, being a Manchester Utd season ticket holder and having a daughter and son, Hollie and Lewis, who both work for Streets Ahead. Bob’s children and grand-children, Lilly and Livia, are the apples of his eye and his memorable moments include his daughter’s wedding two years ago. There is nothing that Bob likes more than being alone in the kitchen on Sunday and making a roast for the family (well maybe cheering at Old Trafford when Man United are winning!)
Gary O’Hare
Director
Telephone: 020 8655 4710Email: gary.ohare@streetsahead.info
Gary’s most memorable moment is Streets Ahead winning a best estate agent award for the first time and is thrilled to bits that Streets Ahead have gone on to win 30 national awards since. Gary has vast experience having worked in the property sector for over 35 years, 32 of them at Streets Ahead.
Patrick Donnelly
Land & New Homes Director
Telephone: 020 8655 4783Email: patrick.donnelly@streetsahead.info
Patrick has been an estate agent in Croydon and the surrounding area for over 30 years and what Patrick doesn’t know about property isn’t worth knowing. Patrick is a fountain of knowledge to all the Streets Ahead family as his experience cannot be replaced. Patrick is a devout family man and loves taking the family on international holidays. Patrick knows a thing or two about football and what he doesn’t know about horse racing probably isn’t worth knowing about. Patrick counts his daughter’s graduation among his best memories.

Local Information
Restaurants:
Unusually for a town of its size, Coulsdon has just one pub in its centre – The Pembroke – which has an extensive food menu. However, café culture is in abundance and many have outdoor terraces. The town also has a great choice of restaurants.
There’s DD’s Café, Valley Café and Café Oasis serving breakfast/brunch and lunch, as well as popular chain Caffe Nero. Urban Fuse is tucked away in a side street but its pretty window seats, beamed ceiling and delicious home-made food mean people seek it out.
Nonna Rosa’s is an Italian delicafé with ciabattas, focaccias, paninis, lasagne, fagiolata and parmigiana all on the menu. The popular I Calabresi Deli is also Italian and as well as coffee and fine food, from panettoni and limoncello to croissants and custard tarts, it offers Italian classes, a book club and a knitting club. Italian eateries also feature prominently in the evening economy. La Scarpetta has a contemporary interior (modern art, plants and illuminated wall displays) and sources many of the ingredients for its home-made pizzas and pastas from Southern Italy.
Wood & Stone makes its pizzas from scratch and cooks them in a wood-fired oven. As well as the classics, its quirky offerings include Nutella pizzas topped with strawberry, banana or pineapple.
Mirch Masala’s tandoori grill – lamb chops, lamb and chicken tikka, kebabs – has a good reputation. The nearby Thai Venue oozes style and offers classic favourites (green curry, pad thai noodles, spicy beef salad) as well as chef’s specials such as volcano chicken, soaked in brandy at your table and set alight.
And finally, just outside the town centre is Coulsdon Manor hotel and golf club. Here, the Manor House restaurant offers fine dining while light meals and afternoon tea are served all day in the Orangery.
