Overview

Sitting in your gorgeous sunny garden you will look back at your amazing home and wonder how life got this good. Set within what can only be described as an extremely coveted semi-rural location, this is a fabulously grand home. What makes this detached house so special is its refusal to compromise in any way, offering a spacious and adaptable layout with character and charm, with a modern and stylish twist.

The fastidious approach of the owners has meant that their home has been lovingly cared for throughout their occupation. This is evident when you walk through the front door, where it really is time to entertain – and not just the family! The real heart of the house is the kitchen and has been carefully designed for the budding chef of the home to cook up something special for family and friends.

The openly accessed lounge/dining area offers a lovely space to relax and enjoy what could only be called the wind down room, with a separate dining area to host those more formal evenings with guests.

With four bedrooms upstairs and the master with your very own shower, there will be no worrying about who gets what rooms, there is plenty of space for a growing family here. The modern family bathroom has ample space to relax after a busy day. You also have a separate toilet upstairs, perfect for family life.

Parking is not an issue on Valley Road and you also have your very own driveway and garage. There is tons of storage here too, plus an outside W/C – this really is a house that ticks all the boxes.
The property is situated well in the catchment area for Outstanding OFSTED rated primary and secondary schools and is only a seven minute walk to Kenley station with direct and frequent trains to London Bridge and London Victoria.

Local Information

Restaurants:

For a small town on the edge of London, Purley is hugely cosmopolitan. Las Fuentes is an authentic Spanish tapas bar, great for groups and family, and so popular people can be seen queuing outside it. Buenos Aires offers a flavour of South America with its exquisite steak-based meals, offering cuts from Pampas grass-fed cattle, cooked on a parrilla (Argentine barbecue).

Another Argentine-influenced eaterie is Speroni, owned by Crystal Palace FC goalkeeper Julian Speroni. The Eagles’ legend’s restaurant has the tagline “Fusion Food. Traditional Meets Modern” and offers such dishes as Chicken Speroni (bacon wrapped and stuffed with spinach, Brie and mushroom).

Dexter Burger (which uses 100% grass-fed beef) has brought Soho dining to the edge of London and offers a new concept in food –high quality fast dining – as well as furniture, using old school chairs and tables built from scaffolding boards.

If you prefer something lighter, then Purley has some lovely little independent coffee shops. Lupita opens for breakfast and lunch, serving delights such as stuffed peppers and gluten-free almond cake while Café Blue offers an alternative to Costa (in the town and in Tesco) by offering fresh food such as lasagne and burgers.
