Overview

Chaldon Way: One of the finest roads in Coulsdon with the surrounding Farthing Downs greens, massively generous gardens and minimum walking distance to the Zone 6 Coulsdon South station (15 minute walk). Outstanding schools in the encatchment also a huge advantage!

At Streets Ahead, we are extraordinarily pleased to announce the sale of a 3 bedroom semi-detached property with a mock tudor exterior design which includes plenty of off-street parking and a garage. From the stunning finished interior to the massive 250ft garden, this type of property is highly sought after by a variety of demographics albeit a growing family, commuters or a retirement couple.

Inside, we have a good sized cloak room leading onto a grand hallway with expensive Amtico Parquet flooring. The recently-built extension includes a tremendous, eye-watering finished kitchen with a wine cooler, integrated units and a Lutron lighting system for the magic sparkle – helping to make this room shine in all its glory. A utility room, just around the corner from the kitchen, is available for ease. For convenience, a downstairs toilet finished with Quentin Blake wallpaper is also present, giving a further premium feel.

Upstairs, three good sized bedrooms and a beautifully designed bathroom with underfloor heating wraps up the property to a wonderful close. Potential to extend over the garage is also present (STPP).

The garden being as prestigious as it is gives all the room you need for your family events, BBQ's in the summer as well as children's adventures in the spring and autumn. The integrated and mood lighting in the decking, wooden shutters and the modern shed further adds to the convenience and versatility of the garden making it enjoyable for every friend and family member. The current owner also employs a gardener who maintains the garden for an extremely competitive price of £20 (per visit).

Ladies & Gentleman, do not let this property go to someone else. View today and don't forget to take your cheque book with you!

Restaurants:

restaurants_coulsdon
Unusually for a town of its size, Coulsdon has just one pub in its centre – The Pembroke – which has an extensive food menu. However, café culture is in abundance and many have outdoor terraces. The town also has a great choice of restaurants.

There’s DD’s Café, Valley Café and Café Oasis serving breakfast/brunch and lunch, as well as popular chain Caffe Nero. Urban Fuse is tucked away in a side street but its pretty window seats, beamed ceiling and delicious home-made food mean people seek it out.

Nonna Rosa’s is an Italian delicafé with ciabattas, focaccias, paninis, lasagne, fagiolata and parmigiana all on the menu. The popular I Calabresi Deli is also Italian and as well as coffee and fine food, from panettoni and limoncello to croissants and custard tarts, it offers Italian classes, a book club and a knitting club. Italian eateries also feature prominently in the evening economy.   La Scarpetta has a contemporary interior (modern art, plants and illuminated wall displays) and sources many of the ingredients for its home-made pizzas and pastas from Southern Italy.

Wood & Stone makes its pizzas from scratch and cooks them in a wood-fired oven. As well as the classics, its quirky offerings include Nutella pizzas topped with strawberry, banana or pineapple.

Mirch Masala’s tandoori grill – lamb chops, lamb and chicken tikka, kebabs –  has a good reputation.  The nearby Thai Venue oozes style and offers classic favourites (green curry, pad thai noodles, spicy beef salad) as well as chef’s specials such as volcano chicken, soaked in brandy at your table and set alight.

And finally, just outside the town centre is Coulsdon Manor hotel and golf club. Here, the Manor House restaurant offers fine dining while light meals and afternoon tea are served all day in the Orangery.
