Fourteen teams of keen golfers raised £5,000 for The Streets Agents Estate Agents Foundation at a fantastic charity golf day at Addington Golf Club.
Streets Ahead Estate Agents’ Managing Director Bob Hay said he was “absolutely delighted” with the sum raised for The Foundation, which helps local charities and causes.
“I want to thank everyone who came along to support the event and raise this amazing sum of money for the Foundation,” said Bob.

“I would also like to thank our sponsors for their much appreciated support. We had a great day of golf – the weather was fantastic – and the Addington Golf
Club proved an excellent course and venue for this key event in our fund raising calendar.”
Streets Ahead wish to thank Zoopla, Reapit, Smart Financial Advice, Streets Ahead, Dave Garland, James Robshaw, Peter Knight, Thomas Mae, Ben Haenow, The Addington Golf Club, Crystal Palace Football Club and Newton Honda for their very kind donations and support to our golf day.
Bob Hay captained the winning team on the day – the Streets Ahead All Stars – which also included Matt Walker, John Walker and Graham Smith.
In second place was the Secon Contractors team of Dave Ball, Glen Purvey, Joe O’Dwyer and Andrew Marinas. They received Wilson Scott Golf Bags and golf merchandise.
The top individual golfer on the day was Michael O’Flaherty, Assistant Manager at Streets Ahead’s Crystal Palace branch.
The next Streets Ahead Estate Agents Foundation fund-raising day is the Charity 5-a-side Tournament at Whyteleafe Football Club on July 5th when players will compete for a handsome trophy. There are just one of two spaces left for any teams wishing to participate. Anyone interested should contact Lucy Day at email@example.com
*The estate agents have launched the Streets Ahead Foundation to support local charities as part of their 25th Anniversary celebrations. Their target is to raise £20,000 in the coming year, with staff also committing to personally raise
£250 each for the Foundation. Part of their fundraising includes participating in the Streets Ahead Croydon Half Marathon.
